5. Access to the smart applications Solution Database and Online Assessment, Registration and User Agreement

5.1 Collection of Data

Access to the solution database or online assessment is only offered to companies and persons  who work professionally or freelance and are users, prospective customers and suppliers/manufacturers in the field of smart applications. The access requires a registration of the company as well as the employees of the company, or the persons who are to use the access.

Personal data will be collected if you voluntarily communicate this to us during establishing contact or registration. We use your data exclusively to provide you with the information or services you require. Only the information and data that is necessary to answer your request or to process the contractual relationship will be stored and processed.

When contacting or requesting an access, you will be asked to provide us with certain data such as: your e-mail address, your name, address and the corporate name and address. On the respective online forms you can see which details are necessary and which are voluntary. We need the data to answer your request or review your application for access.

When using the database, the data referred to in section 2 shall be also collected for the purposes mentioned therein.

5.2 Use of smart applications Solution Database

The solution database is used to set up and use content by users and by us, and is supposed to facilitate contact and exchange of information between users. Users can be end users, prospective customers and suppliers/manufacturers of smart applications. In order to achieve this purpose, it is necessary that the identity and the contact data of the users shall be made accessible to the other users.

We can provide communication and information areas such as forums, pin boards, blogs or chat rooms on the website. Information and personal data that you submit to such a forum may be read, collected or used by other users. It is also possible that you receive unsolicited messages through such forums. We do not assume any responsibility for any personal data that you may enter into such forums.
